Job description

This position is part of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), Office of Portfolio Management. As a Managing Director, Project Management Division, you will be responsible for planning, directing, organizing, and overseeing assigned staff while managing a portfolio of finance projects and loans to maximize the DFC's financial performance and developmental impact.Qualifications:Applicants must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements no later than the closing date of this announcement.
You may qualify at the GS-15 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirements:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service that demonstrates your experience in all of the following:
1) Negotiating loan terms or structuring or restructuring complex loans;
2) Utilizing sophisticated models for carrying out financial analyses;
3) Analyzing complex international projects; AND
4) Experience in all phases of the project finance or corporate loan credit management process.
Note: Education is not substitutional at this grade level.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
